Gilgamesh opened in the heart of Camden Stables Market, North London, offering a unique Eastern gastronomic and nightlife experience. The 200 cover restaurant features a fully retractable roof, a bar and lounge area, several private events spaces, Gilgamesh’s Studio nightclub and the Ketel One 80 Bar.

Executive chef Ian Pengelley, formerly of Notting Hill’s E&O, serves up an array of Pan-Asian delights. Pengelley’s eclectic range of dishes includes Black Bean Ribs, Prawn Tempura, Hoba Miso Chilean Seabass, Duck and Watermelon Salad and Thai Green Chicken CurryAsian-inspired desserts such as Green Tea Banana Cake and Chocolate and Lemongrass Brulee complete the menu.

With glowing reviews the cuisine has been described as, “Incredibly fresh and attractively presented” London Evening Standard, “A great selection of pan-Asian dishes, sushi and sashimi” Heat Magazine, “Clear flavours and imaginative combinations” Sunday Times Style and “Fine food fit for a Babylonian king” Jewish News. andSquare Meal has awarded the restaurant four stars, whilst TNT Magazine gave a five star rating declaring “the Beef Bulgogi is cooked to perfection”.
